Peek
Two shy eyes move into your Stream Deck.
Peek is a tiny liquid creature that lives on a key. It is born the moment you add it, a little different from every other Peek there is, and at first it is shy: it melts away when you move and peeks out when you are still. Give it a few days. It learns your hours, feels what your computer feels, and turns out to be rather cleverer than it looks.
One price, the whole friend. No ads, no account, nothing sent anywhere.
The listing is on its way, and this button turns into a link the moment Elgato publishes it.
Psst.
No two alike
Every Peek gets its own name, its own eyes, its own temper and a favourite move of its own, the moment it is born. Some are sunny, some grumpy, some dreamy. Some have a freckle. Yours will be yours.
It feels what your computer feels
Peek reads the computer it lives on: how hard the processor works, how full the memory is, how fast the network flows, the battery, the hour. And it tells you the only way it can, with its eyes. On a Neo, the Infobar says why.
And over forty feelings of its own besides. You will meet them.
Trust takes time
Peek counts the hours you spend together. The first day it hides whenever you reach for the keys; in a week or two it waits up for you. It never asks for anything, and it never punishes you for being away.
- StrangerHides when you move. Peeks out when you don't.
- ShyPeeks round the edge of the key while you work.
- CuriousStays up, looks around, watches fireflies.
- FriendShows every feeling. Bounces when you come back.
- BondedMelts into hearts. Gets up when you sit down.
It comes along
Put a Peek key on more than one page, and when you switch pages, it comes over. It might zip in, parachute down, tumble in and land upside down, or drip in from above, and how it comes depends on how it feels and how well it knows you. It is rarely the same way twice.

Secretly clever
Peek notices more than it lets on. It learns when you usually sit down and is awake already, waiting. It remembers its birthday. It has a few things it will only do for someone it trusts, and there are secrets to find, if you pay attention. We are not telling.

What it looks at, and what it doesn't
To know whether you are there, Peek reads how long ago the keyboard or mouse was last used: never what you typed or where you clicked. It reads the processor, memory and battery the way the system shows them, and how fast data flows through the network from the counters the system keeps: never what, or where to. All of it stays on your computer. Peek never uses the network itself, and there is nothing to sign up for.
